Job summary

Pertemps Worcester is seeking an HGV Class 2 Driver for a Stratford-upon-Avon based role. You will perform multi-drop deliveries of refrigerated goods, driving 10-tonne and 5-tonne vehicles with some van work, including routes that may include London.

Working Monday to Friday with day shifts from 6:30am, the role offers a PAYE rate of £15.50 per hour and a temp-to-perm path for the right candidate.

Pertemps is recruiting an HGV Class 2 Driver for a temp-to-perm opportunity based in Stratford-upon-Avon, completing multi-drop deliveries of refrigerated food to stores.

You’ll drive a mixture of 10-tonne and 5-tonne vehicles, with occasional van work depending on delivery requirements. The Class 2 hourly rate applies to all hours worked, including van driving.

This role would suit a reliable driver who enjoys customer-facing delivery work and is comfortable driving in London.

The role

Temp-to-perm assignment, offering the opportunity for a permanent position.

What you’ll need

• A valid Category C / HGV Class 2 licence.
• At least 6 months' Class 2 driving experience.
• Valid Driver CPC and digital tachograph card.
• Confidence driving in London.
• Flexibility to drive different vehicle sizes.
• Good communication skills and a professional approach to customers.
• Ability to commute reliably to Stratford-upon-Avon.
