Job summary

BE Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Class 2 Driver for day shifts in Tamworth. You will perform multi-drop deliveries, operate curtain-sided vehicles, and maintain high standards of customer service while adhering to safety procedures.

The role offers a temporary-to-perm path, regular Monday–Friday shifts, and weekend work at enhanced rates where available.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence and Driver CPC required.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Experience delivering multi-drop loads in a customer-facing role is preferred.
• Excellent communication and a professional, reliable attitude.
• Safety boots and high-visibility vest must be worn.

Responsibilities

• Complete multi-drop deliveries of building products to customer sites.
• Drive modern curtain-sided vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Provide a professional and customer-focused delivery service.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and maintain transport documentation.
• Assist with minimal manual handling where required.
• Follow all road transport, health & safety and company procedures.

Salary: £16.00-£18.00 per hour + enhanced weekend rates up to £20.00 per hour

Working hours
