Job summary

Workchain is seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver for a days-based temporary role in Leicester. You will deliver to schedule, load and unload using handball techniques, and work with curtainsider vehicles.

You must hold a valid HGV Class 2 licence, Driver CPC and tachograph card, with prior commercial driving experience. The position offers a minimum of 8 hours' pay and weekly pay every Wednesday.

Qualifications

• Previous commercial driving experience.

• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
• Physically able to load and unload goods safely.

Responsibilities

• Driving an HGV Class 2 vehicle safely and responsibly
• Completing deliveries to the required schedule

• Carrying out routine vehicle and load checks
• Completing delivery paperwork and reporting any issues promptly
• Providing a professional and helpful service at delivery points
