Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 (Cat C) Driver to join our delivery team at the Dunstable distribution centre (LU5 5TA). This full-time, permanent role offers 40.25 hours per week in a 4 on 4 off pattern, with start times between 02:00 and 07:00.

You will deliver safely and accurately, service retail clients, and complete paperwork. The salary is £36,024.42 per year, with fixed overtime rates, holiday pay and a workplace pension, and access to the Hapi App for

Qualifications

A full valid UK Category Class 2 licence, with valid tachograph card and driver CPC.
No more than 6 penalty points on your licence (no DD, DR, DG, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT endorsements).
Previous experience in multidrop or store deliveries preferred but not essential.
Excellent customer service skills, both written and verbal.
Good geographical knowledge; London driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Ensure accurate, timely, and safe delivery of customer products, including multi-drop deliveries within agreed delivery windows.
Deliver totes to retail locations, offload goods correctly, complete paperwork, and collect returns or waste.
Follow all safe working practices, including securing loads to minimise damage and ensure safety.
Provide excellent customer service, report vehicle defects to the Transport Office, and attend required training.
