Driver Hire Ashford and Tonbridge seeks a Class 2 (Cat C) HGV Driver near Dover, Kent. 07:00 starts, Mon-Fri, delivering timber components on a 26-tonne flatbed. No nights out; immediate start with temporary to permanent opportunity.

Weekly pay, holiday pay, pension scheme and a path to a permanent role are offered; a trail day with the customer is required before onboarding.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (Cat C) licence with Digital Tacho and CPC Card.
• Previous experience driving flatbed vehicles preferred.
• Good understanding of load security and safe driving practices.
• Strong communication skills and a reliable attitude.

Responsibilities

• Drive a 26-tonne flatbed vehicle.
• Deliver timber components including roof trusses, open web joists, I-joists, spandrel panels, and gable panels.
• Ensure loads are safely secured.
• Comply with health, safety, and road regulations.
• Maintain timely deliveries Monday to Friday.

Class 2 HGV Driver (Cat C) - Temp to Perm Opportunity

Location: Near Dover, Kent

Contract: Temporary to Permanent

Pay: £15.00 per hour (overtime after 45 hours, £21.75)

We're recruiting a Class 2 (Cat C) HGV Driver to join our client based near Dover, Kent, with an immediate start available.

The Role

• 07:00 starts, Monday to Friday
• Driving a 26-tonne flatbed vehicle
• Delivering timber components including roof trusses, open web joists, I-joists, spandrel panels, and gable panels
• No nights out required
• Ensuring loads are safely secured and transported
• Complying with all health, safety, and road regulations

What You'll Need
