Job summary

Hexagon Recruitment seeks an experienced Class 2 HGV Driver to join our client on a temp-to-perm basis, delivering fencing products to sites across mainland UK from Speke. Competitive hourly rate and flexible start times.

Day shifts, forklift offload for most commercial deliveries, occasional handballing for smaller domestic runs, and immediate start for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Holder of a valid Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph.
• Previous Class 2 driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Class 2 HGV on day shifts.
• Deliver products to commercial and domestic customers.
• Offload by forklift for most commercial deliveries.
• Some domestic deliveries may require handballing.
• Ensure unloading is assisted by customer if needed.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 HGV Driver to join our client on a temp-to-perm basis, with an immediate start available.

This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and professional Class 2 Driver looking for a long-term position with a well-established company delivering fencing products to commercial and domestic customers across mainland UK.

The Role

• Driving a Class 2 HGV on day shifts

• Flexible start times, with shifts typically operating around:

• 5am-4pm
• 7am-6pm
• Or a 9-hour shift

• Delivering products to both commercial and domestic customers
• Commercial deliveries will generally be offloaded by forklift
• Some smaller domestic deliveries may require handballing
• Customers are advised to have someone available to assist with unloading where required

The Ideal Candidate

• Hold a valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
• Have a valid CPC and Digital Tachograph
• Have previous Class 2 driving experience
