Job summary

DBR Group Ltd, recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to work at our client in Irlam, Manchester. Temporary position with duties delivering lighting to TV/Film industry.

Role involves late starts (2am/3am) across the South of England, some overnights, no handball and proactive communication. Requires CPC and tachograph licences, strong reliability and timekeeping, and excellent driving hours compliance.

Qualifications

• Current CPC Licence required.
• Current Digital Tachograph Licence held.
• Able to work well in a team or independently when needed.
• Reliability, punctuality and hard-working attitude essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class 2 vehicle safely and efficiently.
• Deliver lighting to TV & Film industry sites.
• No handball required on this role.
• Work primarily in the South of England, with possible overnights.
• Maintain proactive communication and urgency, adhere to traffic laws.
• Ensure accurate tachograph records and driving hours compliance.

Job description

DBR Group, acting as a Recruitment Business, are recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to work at our client who are a household name in the Driving Industry, in Irlam, Manchester.

Our client is the UKs largest hire company. Delivery of Lighting to the TV & Film industry. With over 200 depots across the UK, Ireland and Germany.

This role is a temporary position.

Duties:

• Operate a Class 2 vehicle safely and efficiently
• Delivery of lighting to the TV & Film Industry
• No Handball
• Work is generally in the South of England and maybe some overnights, hire cars and Uber
• Need to be very proactive with communication and urgency
• Adhere to all road traffic laws and regulations
• Excellent tacho knowledge ref sound manual entry and driving hours compliance

Requirements:

• Current CPC Licence
• Current Digital Tachograph Licence
• An effective team member who works well on their own initiative
• Demonstrates an excellent attitude to work
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude and extremely reliable
• Excellent timekeeping and communication skills

Hours/Remuneration:

• Days - Monday to Friday (2am/3am starts) - £14.00 per hour
• Saturday (2am/3am starts) - £16.00 per hour
• Sunday (2am/3am starts) - £18.00 per hour
