Job summary

DBR Group is recruiting an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to work for our client, a household name in the driving industry, based in Irlam, Manchester. This is a temporary position with early starts on weekdays.

Rota covers Monday to Friday with 2am/3am starts; weekend rates apply (£16/h Saturday, £18/h Sunday). You will operate a Class 2 vehicle, deliver lighting to TV and Film sets, and comply with tachograph rules and road traffic laws.

Qualifications

• Current CPC Licence.
• Current Digital Tachograph Licence.
• An effective team member who works well on their own initiative.
• Demonstrates an excellent attitude to work.
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude and extremely reliable.
• Excellent timekeeping and communication skills.

DBR Group, acting as a Recruitment Business, are recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to work at our client who are a household name in the Driving Industry, in Irlam, Manchester.

Our client is the UKs largest hire company. Delivery of Lighting to the TV & Film industry. With over 200 depots across the UK, Ireland and Germany.

This role is a temporary position.

Duties:

• Operate a Class 2 vehicle safely and efficiently
• Delivery of lighting to the TV & Film Industry
• No Handball
• Work is generally in the South of England and maybe some overnights, hire cars and Uber
• Need to be very proactive with communication and urgency
• Adhere to all road traffic laws and regulations
• Excellent tacho knowledge ref sound manual entry and driving hours compliance

Requirements:

Hours/Remuneration:

• Days - Monday to Friday (2am/3am starts) - £14.00 per hour
• Saturday (2am/3am starts) - £16.00 per hour
• Sunday (2am/3am starts) - £18.00 per hour
