Job summary

DBR Group Ltd is recruiting an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to work for our client in Rochdale, Manchester. This temporary to permanent role offers full training and a stable path into a leading logistics provider.

You will operate a Class 2 vehicle, trunk deliveries within the UK, and ensure tachograph compliance and safe driving hours. A CPC and Digital Tachograph Card are required, with at least 2 years of driving experience.

Qualifications

• CPC certified to operate large goods vehicles.
• Digital Tachograph Card holder with up-to-date cards.
• Minimum 2 years of driving experience.
• Awareness of UK road network and driving hours regulations.

Responsibilities

Duties:

• Operate a Class 2 vehicle safely and efficiently
• Adhere to all road traffic laws and regulations
• Trunk deliveries within the UK
• Delivering/collecting palletised goods to other depots and Palletline sites
• Smart appearance, willing to learn and be trained up
• Full training will be provided
• Excellent tacho knowledge ref sound manual entry and driving hours compliance

Requirements:

• Current and up to date CPC
• Current Digital Tachograph Card
• Minimum 2 years driving experience
• Curtain sided vehicle experience
• Pallet work experience
• UK road network essential
• Previous driving experience essential
• A good solid awareness of the law relating to driver's hours regulations and tachographs in order to be considered for this position
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude and extremely reliable
• You will have good communication skills, both customer and office and able to work using own initiative
• Awareness of Health & Safety

Hours:

Monday to Friday, start time 07:00 am

Remuneration:

£15.00 per hour
