Driver Require Ltd is seeking a motivated HGV Class 2 driver to join our Burton upon Trent team. You will carry out daily vehicle checks, report any damage or wear to the Transport Team, and effectively manage driving time to ensure compliance with regulations.

The role features early starts (01:00–05:00, mainly 01:00–03:00) and average 10–12 hour shifts, with store deliveries to high street and retail parks.

Qualifications

• Class 2 experience required.
• London driving experience advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Carry out daily vehicle checks.
• Report damage, defects or wear to Transport Team.
• Manage driving time to avoid infringements.
• Work early starts (01:00–05:00), 10–12 hour shifts.
• Deliver to high street and retail parks.
• Cage work using tail-lift up to 250kg.

• Carrying out daily checks on the vehicle you are assigned
• Reporting any damage, defects, or wear-and-tear to the Transport Team
• Effectively managing your driving time so that you don't acquire infringements
• EARLY STARTS - AM Start times between 01:00 - 05:00, but mainly between 01:00 - 03:00
• Average 10 - 12 hour shifts
• Store deliveries (high street and retail parks)
• Cage work using tail-lift (cages can weigh up to 250kg)

HGV Class 2 Driver Specification:

• Must have minimum 12 months Class 2 experience
• Experience driving in London would be advantageous, but not essential
