Job summary

Pertemps Worcester is recruiting a Class 2 Delivery Driver for Alcester. You will join a drinks delivery operation, delivering beer kegs, crates and cases to pubs, restaurants and hospitality venues with a driver mate.

Shifts are around 10 hours, start between 6:00am and 8:00am, with patterns Tue-Fri or Tue-Sat. You must hold a valid Class 2 licence and be reliable, physically fit and prepared for manual handling.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
• Be aged 25 or over.
• Have no more than six points on your licence and no endorsements.
• Be physically fit for loading/unloading heavy kegs and crates.
• Reliable and punctual; able to work well as part of a two-person delivery team.
• Professional and customer-friendly attitude.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Class 2 vehicle safely and deliver beer kegs, crates and cases of alcohol.
• Complete deliveries to pubs, restaurants and hospitality venues.
• Work with a driver’s mate; assist with unloading and deliveries.
• Carry out multiple drops during each shift.
• Check deliveries and ensure correct items reach each customer.
• Provide a professional and friendly service at every delivery point.
• Complete vehicle checks and report any problems.
• Follow road safety, manual handling and company procedures.

Pay rate: £16.85 per hour

Working patterns available: Tuesday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday

We are currently recruiting Class 2 drivers to join a drinks delivery operation based in Alcester. This is a hands‑on driving role delivering beer kegs, cases and crates of alcohol to pubs, restaurants and other hospitality venues.

You will be working with a driver's mate, who will assist you throughout the day with unloading and completing deliveries. Routes will involve multiple drops, so we are looking for drivers who are comfortable with both driving and manual handling.

What the role involves

• Driving a Class 2 vehicle safely and responsibly


• Delivering beer kegs, crates and cases of alcohol


• Completing deliveries to pubs, restaurants and hospitality venues


• Carrying out multiple drops during each shift


• Working alongside an experienced driver's mate


• Loading and unloading heavy products


• Checking deliveries and making sure the correct items reach each customer


• Providing a professional and friendly service at every delivery point


• Completing vehicle checks and reporting any problems


• Following road safety, manual‑handling and company procedures

Start times will usually be between 6:00am and 8:00am, with shifts lasting approximately 10 hours.

There are two working patterns available:

• Tuesday to Friday


• Tuesday to Saturday

Driver requirements

• Hold a valid Class 2 (\"Category C\") driving licence


• Be aged 25 or over


• Have no more than six points on your driving licence


• Have no licence endorsements


• Be physically fit and comfortable lifting and moving heavy kegs and crates


• Be reliable, punctual and able to work well as part of a two‑person delivery team


• Have a professional and customer‑friendly attitude

This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable Class 2 driving experience while working alongside a driver's mate. You should be prepared for an active working day, as this is not a driving‑only position and the deliveries can be physically demanding.
