Job summary

The Best Connection is recruiting an HGV Class 2 Driver for ongoing full-time work in Birmingham (B11). You will handle multi-drop deliveries to local shops, start at 6:00 AM, Monday to Friday with occasional Saturday work, and shifts run until completion.

Applicants must have a valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence, Driver CPC, a Digital Tachograph card, and experience with multi-drop deliveries. A reliable, punctual and professional attitude is essential.

Responsibilities

• Completing multi-drop deliveries to local customers.

HGV Class 2 (Category C) Driver

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking HGV Class 2 Driver ( TWO YEARS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED DUE TO INSURANCE PURPOSES ) to join a busy cash and carry operation based in the B11 area. This role involves multi-drop deliveries to local shops and businesses, ensuring goods are delivered safely and efficiently.

Monday to Friday

Occasional Saturday work available

6:00 AM start time

Shifts run until completion

Key Responsibilities

• Completing multi-drop deliveries to local customers
• Handling palletised goods using an automatic pump truck
• Delivering and collecting caged goods
• Carrying out manual handling (handball) as required
• Ensuring accurate and timely deliveries
• Completing all relevant paperwork and adhering to compliance procedures
• Providing excellent customer service at delivery points

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
• Valid Driver CPC qualification

Pay Rates

• Class 2 Driver - Days - £14.50 per hour
• Saturdays - £21.00 per hour
• Bank Holidays - £28.00 per hour
