Job summary

Lanes Group is recruiting for an HGV Class 2 Drainage Engineer at the Crawley depot in West Sussex. You will join a two-person team, travelling to sites to patch and line drains under the Southern Water contract. The role requires a CPC and HGV Class 2 licence, with full training provided.

Expect 50 hours per week, on-call rota, and a competitive package including 21 days holiday, pension, and health plan. We operate 24/7 with a strong focus on safety and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Travel to residential sites in a two-person team to repair and maintain drainage.
• Patch liners for first-time sewer/drain repairs and remove obstructions with high-pressure jetting.
• Survey networks and produce reports using drain surveying equipment.
• Record job reports on specialist equipment and ensure health and safety at all times.
• Liaise with clients on progress and provide excellent customer service.
