Job summary

Lanes Group is recruiting a HGV Class 2 Drainage Engineer for the Millbrook Depot in Southampton. The role involves working in two-person teams across the region, operating high‑pressure jetting equipment and delivering high standards of drainage maintenance and customer service.

You must have a HGV Class 2 licence and CPC, a digi tachograph card, and a commitment to health and safety. Full training provided; 50-hour week with on-call duty and generous benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum HGV Class 2 licence, CPC, and Digi Tachograph card.
• Experience with high‑pressure jetting is useful but not essential.
• Knowledge of health and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Travel to residential sites in two-person teams via HGV.
• Operate high pressure water jetting equipment.
• Inspect and record job reports using provided equipment.
• Carry out diagnostics and repairs of drainage systems.
• Maintain safety and customer service standards.
