Job summary

Lanes Group in London is recruiting a HGV Class 2 Drainage Engineer to join our Thames Water contract team. You will travel to residential sites in the North London area, operate high pressure jetting equipment and carry out drainage clearance and repairs.

The role is full-time, permanent with 4 days on 4 days off, 40.25 hours, and a salary of £50,000 OTE plus overtime and bonuses. Full training, PPE and company-provided tools are supplied.

Qualifications

• Minimum HGV Class 2 licence and CPC; Digi tachograph card required.
• Additional drainage qualifications (e.g., NRSWA, Confined Spaces) are advantageous.
• You must comply with health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Travelling to residential sites in a HGV, powering a high pressure water jet for restoration.
• Clean / clear / repair and maintain drainage systems.
• Record each job report correctly on the specialist equipment provided.
• Run diagnostics and repairs on drains using electro mechanical and specialist CCTV survey equipment.
• Rodding blockages.
• Delivering good customer service.
• Maintaining good H&S practise while carrying out works.
