Job summary

Lanes Group is seeking a dedicated HGV Class 2 Drainage Engineer to join our Thames Water contract team. You will travel around the Home Counties in a high‑pressure jetting rig, inspecting and repairing drainage networks, recording details with specialist equipment, and ensuring safety standards are followed daily.

The role offers four days on/4 days off, a salary of £50,000 per year, and a supportive team environment with training and PPE provided to maintain high standards of operation.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused approach and commitment to safety standards.
• Experience with drainage and high pressure jetting is advantageous.
• CPC certificate and digi tachograph card are required.

Responsibilities

• Travel to residential sites in a HGV to operate high pressure water jetting.
• Clean, clear, and repair drainage systems and record job reports.
• Run diagnostics and perform repairs on drains using CCTV and specialist equipment.
• Rodding blockages and maintaining health and safety practices on site.
• Deliver excellent customer service and workmanship.
