Job summary

Driver Hire Winchester is seeking Class 2 (Cat C) drivers for a Southampton-area wholesale business. You’ll perform multi-stop deliveries, handle loading with tail lift/pump truck, and maintain a high standard of customer service. Regular Mon-Fri shifts, 6:00am starts, with a 12-week temp-to-perm pathway.

A £250 sign-up bonus is on offer; training is provided and there is potential to go permanent after 12 weeks. Transport to site may be required due to location.

Qualifications

• Full UK Class 2 (Cat C) licence with CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• Professional attitude and good timekeeping are essential.
• Own transport is needed due to the location.
• Experience with tail lifts, pump trucks and securing loads is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Multidrop deliveries to independent stores and forecourts.
• Loading and unloading using tail lift and pump truck.
• Provide safe, reliable deliveries and excellent customer service.
• Overtime may be available in busy periods.

The Job: Class 2 (Cat C)

• Monday to Friday, 6:00am Starts
• 12-week temp-to-perm opportunity

• Loading and unloading using a tail lift and pump truck
• Providing safe, reliable deliveries and excellent customer service

What We're Looking For:

• Full UK Class 2 (Cat C) licence, valid CPC and Digital Tacho card
• A professional attitude and good timekeeping
• Own transport due to the location
• Confidence using tail lifts, pump trucks and ratchet straps
• A reliable team player who can also work independently
