Job summary

The Best Connection are seeking an experienced Class 2 driver for a Southampton-based logistics client. This temp-to-perm role offers ongoing work with the potential for a permanent position within a well-established company.

Salary is £15.50 per hour with regular weekly pay. Work pattern is Monday to Friday, 08:00 start, with on-site parking and duties including local deliveries and vehicle checks.

Qualifications

• Full UK Class 2 (Category C) licence required.
• Valid Driver CPC.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous commercial class 2 experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive Class 2 curtain sider and perform local deliveries/collections.
• Shift pattern 08:00–17:00, Monday to Friday.
• Complete vehicle checks before and after each shift.
• Weekly pay and on-site parking available.

The Best Connection are looking for an experienced class 2 driver for an established logistics client based in Southampton. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, offering ongoing work with the potential to secure a permanent position with a well-established company.

Salary - £15.50 per hour

Location - Southampton

Start Time - 08:00am

Work Pattern - Monday to Friday

The Role:

• Driving Class 2 curtain sider
• Doing local deliveries and collections
• Working Monday to Friday working 08:00am to 17:00pm
• Regular, ongoing work 5 days a week
• Vehicle checks required before and after each shift
• Weekly Pay
• On-site parking

What You'll Need:

• Full UK Class 2 (Category C) licence
• Valid Driver CPC
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous commercial class 2 experience
• Reliable and professional attitude
• Good communication skills
• Reporting any issues to manager
