Job summary

People Solutions is recruiting an HGV Class 2 ADR Driver to join a well-established client based in Middlesbrough. The role offers Monday to Friday shifts, 05:00 starts, and ongoing work with weekly PAYE pay. You will drive ADR vehicles, perform safety checks, and ensure compliant deliveries to customer sites and RDCs.

Ideal candidates will hold a UK Category C (Class 2) licence, CPC, tachograph, and ADR certificate, with up to six penalty points and a strong focus on safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• UK Category C (Class 2) driving licence valid.
• CPC card and Digital Tachograph card valid.
• ADR certificate held.
• No more than six penalty points; no major endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate Category C (Class 2) ADR vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Deliver ADR goods to RDCs and customer sites.
• Complete multi-drop deliveries with Driver's Mate where required.
• Load and unload vehicles safely and securely.
• Carry out daily vehicle safety inspections and report defects.
• Complete delivery paperwork accurately.
• Follow Driver Hours Regulations, ADR requirements and road traffic laws.

HGV Class 2 ADR Driver - Middlesbrough | £17.00 per hour | Monday to Friday | 05:00 Starts | ADR Work | Ongoing Work | Weekly Pay

People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 2 ADR Driver to join our well-established client based in Middlesbrough.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent hourly rates, ongoing Monday to Friday work, immediate starts and genuine long-term opportunities for both experienced and newly qualified ADR drivers.

This role would suit applicants who have worked as a LGV Class 2 ADR Driver, Category C ADR Driver or Tanker Driver.

Rates of Pay:

• £17.00 per hour
• Weekly pay (PAYE)

Shift Pattern:

• Monday to Friday
• Day shifts
• Circa 05:00 start times

Day-to-Day Duties:

Your duties as an HGV Class 2 ADR Driver are:

• Driving and operating Category C (Class 2) ADR vehicles safely and efficiently
• Delivering ADR goods to RDCs and customer sites
• Completing multi-drop deliveries with a Driver's Mate where required
• Loading and unloading vehicles safely and securely
• Carrying out daily vehicle safety inspections and reporting defects
• Completing delivery paperwork accurately
• Following Driver Hours Regulations, ADR requirements and all road traffic legislation
• Providing excellent customer service at every delivery

Essential Skills:

To be successful as an HGV Class 2 ADR Driver, you will need:

• Valid UK Category C (Class 2) Driving Licence
• Valid Driver CPC Card
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Valid ADR Certificate
• No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes (IN, DR, DD or CD)
• Professional, reliable and safety-focused approach
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Good understanding of ADR regulations and road transport legislation
