Job summary

People Solutions is actively recruiting for an HGV Class 2 ADR Driver to join our established client in Middlesbrough. The role offers Monday to Friday shifts with 05:00 starts, ongoing work and weekly PAYE pay.

You will drive Category C ADR vehicles, complete multi-drop deliveries with a Driver's Mate, conduct vehicle checks and adhere to ADR and driver hours regulations. The position promises full training, on-site parking and a supportive team.

Qualifications

Valid UK Category C (Class 2) Driving Licence.
Valid Driver CPC Card.
Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
Valid ADR Certificate.
No more than six penalty points and no major endorsement codes.
Professional, reliable and safety-focused approach.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Good understanding of ADR regulations and road transport legislation.

Responsibilities

Drive and operate Category C (Class 2) ADR vehicles safely.
Deliver ADR goods to RDCs and customer sites.
Complete multi-drop deliveries with a Driver's Mate where required.
Load and unload vehicles safely and securely.
Carry out daily vehicle safety inspections and report defects.
Complete delivery paperwork accurately.
Follow Driver Hours Regulations, ADR requirements and all road transport legislation.
Provide excellent customer service at every delivery.
