Job summary

People Solutions is recruiting for an HGV Class 2 ADR Driver to join our client’s transport operation in South Kirkby and surrounding areas. This role suits experienced ADR drivers seeking stability, good earning potential and long-term progression.

You will operate Class 2 vehicles, complete loading/unloading tasks, keep accurate records, and communicate with dispatch. Essential licences include UK Cat C, CPC, Digital Tachograph, and ADR; strong customer service is required.

Qualifications

• UK Category C Licence required.
• CPC Card and ADR Certificate required.
• Digital Tachograph Card must be valid.
• No more than six penalty points for minor offences.

Responsibilities

• Safely operating Class 2 vehicles to delivery locations.

HGV Class 2 ADR Driver - South Kirkby

People Solutions are currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 ADR Drivers to join our client's growing transport operation based in South Kirkby and the surrounding areas.

This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced ADR drivers who are looking for stability, excellent earning potential, and long-term career progression.

This role would particularly suit applicants with previous experience as a Class 2 Driver, LGV Driver, HGV Driver, Category C Driver, Multi-Drop Driver, ADR Driver, Tanker Driver, or Distribution Driver.

Rates of Pay:

• £17.00 per hour

Shift Pattern:

• Monday to Friday
• Start times between 5:00am and 7:00am

Day-to-Day Duties:

As an HGV Class 2 ADR Driver, you will work:

• Safely operating and driving Class 2 vehicles to and from delivery locations
• Transporting packed goods ADR consignments and completing low-pressure discharge deliveries
• Completing loading and unloading tasks with care and accuracy
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting defects to management
• Adhering to all traffic laws and road safety regulations
• Maintaining accurate delivery records and paperwork
• Communicating effectively with dispatch teams, customers, and site staff

Essential Skills:

To be successful as an HGV Class 2 ADR Driver, you will need:

• A valid UK Category C Licence
• A valid CPC Card
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than six penalty points for minor offences (no IN, DR, DD, or CD codes)
• A valid ADR Certificate
• A reliable, professional, and punctual approach to work
• Good communication and customer service skills
• A good understanding of road safety and compliance requirements

Desirable Experience:

• Previous experience completing ADR deliveries
• Previous Class 2 driving experience
• Experience working within the transport and logistics sector
• Good customer interaction and service skills

Training:

• Full industry-related training provided
• Ongoing support and development throughout your assignment
