Smart Solutions is recruiting HGV Class 2 (Category C) drivers for household waste collection work in Yate, Bristol. You’ll drive a refuse collection vehicle on residential routes, working alongside two loaders in an active outdoor role involving waste collection and manual handling.

Shifts are Monday–Friday, 6:45am–3:15pm with overtime and weekend rates; there is a temp‑to‑perm path after roughly 10 weeks and a potential £5,000 joining bonus after six months, subject to terms.

Qualifikationen

• Valid HGV Class 2 / Category C licence.
• Driver CPC and tachograph card required.
• No more than 6 penalty points.
• Reliable and safety‑conscious approach.
• Comfortable with physical outdoor work.

Smart Solutions is recruiting HGV Class 2 (Category C) Drivers for household waste collection work in Yate, Bristol.

What's on offer?

• £18.50 per hour for the first 40 hours


• £27.75 per hour for overtime after 40 hours


• £27.75 per hour on Saturdays


• £37.00 per hour on Sundays


• Monday–Friday, 6:45am–3:15pm


• Temp-to-perm opportunity after approximately 10 weeks


• Potential £5,000 joining bonus after six months of permanent employment probation, subject to eligibility and terms and conditions

The role

You'll drive a refuse collection vehicle on residential household waste routes, working alongside two loaders. This is an active, hands‑on position involving outdoor work and assisting with waste collection and manual handling.

What you’ll need

• Valid HGV Class 2 / Category C licence
