Job summary

HG Recruitment Solutions is hiring HGV Class 2 drivers for routes in and around Bristol, starting immediately. The role involves refuse and waste collections in residential areas, with a 3-person crew and multi-drop runs.

Shifts are 8–10 hours, Monday–Friday with 06:15 starts. Temp to Perm opportunity with regular pay and support from the recruitment team.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 licence valid in the UK.
• Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Max 6 points on licence.
• Strong knowledge of drivers' hours and Working Time rules.

Responsibilities

• Carry out refuse and waste collections in residential areas.
• Work in a three-person team (1 driver, 2 loaders) and tip vehicle.
• Perform multi-drop collections as an HGV Class 2 driver.
• Average shift length 8–10 hours.
• Start times around 06:15, Monday to Friday.

New Pass Pay Rates: holiday pay is accrued

• Days £18.00
• Saturday £27.00
• Sunday £36.00
• Overtime £36.00

Experienced Driver (1 Year Minimum Experience) Pay Rates: holiday pay is accrued

• Days £22.00
• Saturday £33.00
• Sunday £44.00
• Overtime £33.00

Estimated weekly pay £990 based on 45 hrs

The role

Refuse and Waste Collections within residential Areas.

Working in a team of 3 (1 driver, 2 loaders) collecting residential waste & tipping vehicle.

HGV Class 2 driver must carry out multi-drop collections.

Average shift length 8-10hrs

Monday-Friday - Start times 06:15

Temp to Perm opportunity

Requirements

• A valid UK HGV Class 2 licence
• A valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than 6 points on your licence
• New Pass Welcome
• Higher Rates for drivers with Minimum 1 year driving experience
• Good knowledge of drivers' hours and Working Time rules
