Job summary

Kenect Recruitment Ltd. in Cambridge is hiring HGV Class 2 drivers for a client in the area. This temp-to-perm role starts after 12 weeks with a contract offered and pays £18.50 per hour, with holidays accrued.

You will deliver to building sites, unload with a sack barrow or pump truck, and perform daily handball duties. Start times range from 04:00 to 06:30, with Monday to Friday runs and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Full UK Cat C driving license with up to 6 points and no DG/DR endorsements.
• Valid CPC and tachograph card are required.
• Hi-Vis clothing and safety boots are mandatory for site work.

Responsibilities

• Deliver to building sites and unload using a sack barrow or pump truck.
• Handball is required on a daily basis.
• Vehicles are preloaded and deliveries are made with a HHT for POD.

Job description

Kenect are hiring HGV Class 2 drivers for their prestigious client based in the Cambridge area. This is a temp to perm position with a contract offered after 12 weeks, paying £18.50ph PLUS holidays are accrued on top.

As a HGV Class 2 driver, you will be responsible for delivering to building sites and using a sack barrow or pump truck to unload at the sites. There is handball involved in this role which all drivers must be okay with doing daily.

The role:

• Temp to perm positions available for the right candidate
• Day shifts available
• Runs available between Monday and Friday
• Start times between 0400 – 0630
• Paid weekly at £18.50 per hour
• Immediate starts available
• Vehicles are preloaded
• Making deliveries with a HHT for POD

Requirements:

• Full UK driving license with Cat C
• No more than 6 points on your licence – no DG/DR endorsements due to insurance purposes
• A valid CPC and tacho card
• Hi vis and safety boots
