Job summary

Responsibilities

• Drive curtain sider vehicles and/or box trailers on nationwide deliveries to RDCs.
• Perform multi-drop deliveries for HGV Class 2 role and use pump truck/tail lift to unload.
• Typical shifts include 0500–0900 or 1600–2300; 8 hours paid per shift; weekly pay.

Salary: GBP15 - GBP18 per hour

Kenect are hiring HGV Class 1 + 2 drivers for their prestigious client based in the Uttoxeter area.

As a HGV Class 1 driver, you'll be responsible for driving curtain sider vehicles and/or box trailers doing nationwide deliveries to RDCs. PAYE rate of pay of up to £18ph with your holidays accrued separately.
As a HGV Class 2 driver, you'll be responsible for doing multi-drop deliveries of palletised goods and using a pump truck/tail lift to unload.PAYE rate of pay of up to £16ph with your holidays accrued separately.

The role:

• Temp to perm positions available
• Day and night shiftsavailable
• Runs available between Monday andFriday
• Start times between 0500 – 0900 or 1600 – 2300
• Paid weekly at £15 – £22 per hour
• Minimum of 8hrs paid per shift

Requirements:

• Full UK driving license with Cat CE and/or C
• No more than 6 points on your licence - no DG/DR endorsements due to insurance purposes
• A valid CPC and tacho card
• Hi vis and safety boots
