Job summary

Kenect are hiring HGV Class 2 drivers for their Cambridge area client. This temp-to-perm role offers a contract after 12 weeks and a pay rate of £18.50 per hour with holiday accrual on top.

You will deliver to building sites, unloading with sack barrows/pump trucks, with daily handball. Shifts run Mon–Fri, start times 04:00–06:30, paid weekly.

Qualifications

• HGV driving experience or qualification preferred.
• Valid Cat C license and CPC/tacho card.
• No more than 6 points on license; insurance restrictions apply.

Responsibilities

• Deliver to building sites in the Cambridge area.
• Unload using sack barrow or pump truck; assist with handball.
• Complete deliveries with POD and responsibilities as required.

Kenect are hiring HGV Class 2 drivers for their prestigious client based in the Cambridge area. This is a temp to perm position with a contract offered after 12 weeks, paying £18.50ph PLUS holidays are accrued on top.

As a HGV Class 2 driver, you will be responsible for delivering to building sites and using a sack barrow or pump truck to unload at the sites. There is handball involved in this role which all drivers must be okay with doing daily.

The role:

• Temp to perm positions available for the right candidate
• Runs available between Monday and Friday
• Start times between 0400 - 0630
• Paid weekly at £18.50 per hour
• Vehicles are preloaded
• Making deliveries with a HHT for POD

Requirements:

• Full UK driving license with Cat C
• No more than 6 points on your licence - no DG/DR endorsements due to insurance purposes
• A valid CPC and tacho card
• Hi vis and safety boots
