Job summary

Hiregiant Ltd in the United Kingdom is recruiting a Class 1 Driver for a 24/7 logistics operation with consistent weekend night shifts. Drivers will operate fridge trailers; some experience with fridge trailers and temperatures would be helpful. The HGV1 will be loaded and ready to go.

The role requires transporting stock from Depos and RDCs with no handball. You will complete PODs and paperwork, conduct daily vehicle checks, and work within a 24/7 operation with flexible shifts.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Valid CPC & Digi Tacho.
• Safety boots & hi-vis.

Responsibilities

• Operate a HGV 1 truck and trailer.
• Complete 23 drops / collections on distance routes.
• Complete PODs and paperwork accurately.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks.
• Work within a 24/7 operation with flexible shifts.

Class 1 Driver

The LGV 1 driver will be required to transport stock from Depos and RDCs, there is no handball with this roll.

As aClass 1 Driver, you will be:

• Operating a HGV 1 truck and trailer


• Completing23 drops / collectionson distance routes


• Completing PODs and paperwork accurately


• Conducting daily vehicle checks


• Working within a 24/7 operation with flexible shifts

Hours & Pay

• Friday, Saturday, Sunday - NIGHTS.


• 8 - 12 hour shifts


• £18.00 £24.00 per hour PAYE


• Up to £24 per hour over the weekend


• Weekly pay every Friday


• Ongoing, long-term work
