Job summary

HireGiant Ltd in the East Midlands is seeking a Class 1 Driver for a 24/7 logistics operation offering consistent weekend shifts. You will drive fridge trailers and ensure stock is transported from central depots with no handball required. You will complete PODs and paperwork and perform daily vehicle checks to maintain on-time deliveries.

Working hours are flexible within a 24/7 schedule. This role requires a professional approach, adherence to safety checks, and reliable weekend availability

Qualifications

• Class 1 driving experience preferred.
• Experience with fridge trailers helpful.
• No handball; stock transported from central depots.

Job description

We are recruiting Class 1 Driver for a 24/7 logistics operation offering consistent weekend shifts . Drivers will operate fridge trailers, some experience with fridge trailers and temperatures would be helpful. The HGV1 will be loaded ready to go.

The LGV 1 driver will be required to transport stock from Depos and RDCs, there is no handball with this roll.

As a Class 1 Driver , you will be:

• Operating a HGV 1 truck and trailer
• Completing PODs and paperwork accurately
• Conducting daily vehicle checks
• Working within a 24/7 operation with flexible shifts
