Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 licence with a clean driving record.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a similar heavy goods driving role.
• Able to work night shifts consistently and reliably.
• Strong organisational skills for freight and documentation.
• Excellent communication and professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Operate HGV Class 1 vehicles safely on scheduled night routes and ensure on-time deliveries between hubs.
• Follow detailed routing and scheduling to optimise parcel movement across regional hubs.
• Load, secure and occasionally unload freight including pallets and cages.
• Conduct daily vehicle safety inspections and complete defect reports as required.
• Handle shipment paperwork, scan consignments accurately, and communicate with dispatch teams.
