Job summary

SR Drivers Ltd is recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Tramper Drivers for a client based in Scunthorpe. This Temp to Perm role offers Monday to Friday shifts with potential to secure permanent employment after the temporary period.

Shifts are typically 8–12 hours, with days and night options and a flexible pattern. You will handle curtain-side deliveries and loading/unloading, and travel to various customer sites while maintaining safety and efficiency on site.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Minimum 3 months' Class 1 driving experience.
• No more than 6 points on driving licence.
• Previous tramping/night-out experience preferred.
• Comfortable with physical/manual work.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Class 1 (C+E) vehicle.
• Perform curtain-side deliveries and collections.
• Deliver to various sites and customers.
• Load/unload where required; manual handling as needed.

Skills

HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence

3+ months Class 1 driving experience

No more than 6 points on licence

Tramping/night-out experience (prefer)

SR Drivers are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Tramper Drivers for a well-established client based in Scunthorpe.

This is a Temp to Perm opportunity offering Monday to Friday shifts and the opportunity to secure a permanent position after successfully completing the temporary period.

Pay & Benefits

• Monday–Friday: £210 per day
• Saturday & Sunday: £225 per day
• £30 Night Out Allowance per night

The Role

As an HGV Class 1 Tramper Driver, your duties will include:

• Driving a Class 1 (C+E) vehicle
• Curtain-side deliveries and collections
• Deliveries and collections to various sites and customers
• Loading and unloadingOccasional manual handling
• Use of a pump truck when required

The role involves physical/manual work, so candidates must be comfortable with this.

Working Pattern

• Monday to Friday
• Between 8 and 12 hour shifts
• Days and Night Shifts available
• Flexibility is required

Candidate Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have:

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
