Job summary

The Best Connection are recruiting Class 1 Tramper Drivers for a leading logistics company based in Goole. This role offers ongoing, long-term work with immediate starts and a modern, well-maintained fleet.

You’ll typically work Monday to Friday with weekends free, an assigned truck when possible, and potential for a permanent role after 8 weeks. Overtime and night-out payments boost earnings.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Class 1 (CE) Licence is required.
• Minimum 6 months Class 1 driving experience.
• Valid CPC & Tachograph Card.
• No more than 6 penalty points (No DD, DR or IN endorsements).
• Good knowledge of UK road networks.
• Successful completion of a paid driving assessment.

Responsibilities

• Class 1 tramping work across the UK.
• Curtain-sided trailer work.
• Transporting rail manufacturing components.
• Monday to Friday operation.
• Regular, consistent work and steady miles.

Pay Rates

• £25.08 per hour after 40 hours worked


• £20.38 per hour Saturday
