Job summary

Plantforce Rentals Ltd is seeking a HGV Class 1 Driver (C&E) for Midlands operations. The role involves transporting heavy plant machinery, overnight stays, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance on every delivery.

You will load/unload, maintain records, and communicate with managers and sites to resolve route issues. A clean Class 1 license, CPC Tachograph card, and UK work eligibility are essential.

Qualifications

• Right to work in the UK.
• Class 1 HGV license with a clean driving record.
• CPC qualification and Tachograph card.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class 1 HGV to transport heavy plant machinery and construction loads.
• Ensure deliveries are on time and comply with safety regulations.
• Perform daily vehicle checks and report defects to keep vehicles compliant.
• Secure and load plant equipment properly for transport and unloading.
• Maintain delivery records and communicate issues with routes or deliveries.
• Stay away overnight for long-distance hauls in line with policy.
