Job summary

Pertemps Bristol Industrial is recruiting an experienced Class 1 Night Driver for a busy food distribution site in Bristol (BS35). This full-time, temp-to-perm role offers a 4 out of 7 PM shift pattern, with fixed rotas and guaranteed hours.

Start times range 16:00 to 19:30, with 12-hour shifts and overtime paid after the fifth duty. The role requires night work and manual handling, delivering caged ingredients safely to multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months' Class 1 (C+E) driving experience.
• Valid CPC and Tachograph Card.
• Maximum 6 points on your licence (no DR, DD, or IN codes).

Responsibilities

• Driving Class 1 (C+E) vehicles on night shifts.
• Delivering caged food ingredients.
• Handball involved – moving roll cages on and off the vehicle.
• Ensuring all deliveries are made safely and on time.

This is a full-time role with a 4 out of 7 - PM shift pattern, offering excellent earning potential and job stability. This role offers excellent work-life balance, as the rota is fixed in advance, and you will be allocated 5 days off in a row once a month!

Role Details

• Start Times: Between 16:00 – 19:30
• Shift Length: 12-hour guaranteed shifts
• Pattern: 4 shifts out of 7 (weekend availability may be required)
• Overtime: Paid at £27.90 on the fifth shift worked in a week
• Salary: £46,425 per year
