Job summary

Uniserve is seeking a qualified HGV Class 1 night driver to join our team. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of containers across the UK, adhering to all transport regulations and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Hold a clean Class 1 C+E licence with in-date DQC and Tachograph Card.
• 2 years container experience with skeletal trailers is advantageous.
• Familiarity with Felixstowe, LGW and Tilbury ports is preferred.
• ADR training useful but not essential.

Job description

James Kemball, is seeking a qualified HGV Class 1 night drivers to join the team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of containers across the UK.

Will consider new drivers

Salary: £41,195.56 salary quoted excl. overtime and performance related bonus.

About You

• 2 years container experience with skeletal trailers is advantageous
• Familiarity with working on port of Felixstowe, LGW & Tilbury
• Hold a clean valid Class 1 C+E HGV licence, along with an in-date DQC and Digital Tachograph Card
• ADR preferred but not essential as training can be provided.
• RHIDES Card advantageous
• Strong understanding of safe working practices and manual handling procedures
• Clear and confident communication skills
• Collaborative approach with a positive, proactive attitude
• Consideration will also be given to drivers with good HGV Class 1 experience
