Job summary

Kinaxia Logistics is based in Colchester and is seeking HGV Class 1 Night Drivers to join our team for a consistent, well-paid night role within a supportive and professional environment.

The position offers a £60,000 per annum salary, night shifts from Monday to Friday, and additional benefits including Life Assurance, Pension, full uniform and PPE, onsite parking, Employee Assistance Programme, and loyalty awards. ADR work available with extra pay where applicable.

Qualifications

• Valid LGV C+E (Class 1) licence required.
• Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC) required.
• Valid digital tachograph card required.
• Good communication skills essential.
• Reliable, professional and positive approach preferred.
• ADR certification desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily vehicle checks to ensure vehicle is safe and roadworthy.
• Arrive on time and communicate any issues with the traffic office.
• Follow company procedures, customer requirements and the Highway Code.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety.
• Complete deliveries and collections as scheduled.
• Comply with EU tachograph and Working Time Directive regulations.
• Keep vehicle clean, tidy and well maintained.

Your Role

As an HGV Class 1 Night Driver, you'll be a key part of our operation, helping to ensure goods are delivered safely and efficiently.

• Carrying out daily vehicle checks to ensure your vehicle is safe and roadworthy
• Arriving on time and communicating any issues with the traffic office
• Following company procedures, customer requirements and the Highway Code
• Maintaining high standards of health and safety
• Completing deliveries and collections as scheduled
• Complying with EU tachograph and Working Time Directive regulations
• Keeping your vehicle clean, tidy and well maintained

What We're Looking For

• A valid LGV C+E (Class 1) licence

• ADR certification desirable but not required (£10 per day additional for ADR work)
