Job summary

Kinaxia Logistics in Eastleigh is seeking professional HGV Class 1 Night Drivers to join our growing team. You will play a vital role delivering reliable service with a focus on safety and efficiency.

You will hold LGV C+E (Class 1) licence, Driver CPC/DQC, and a Tachograph card, with experience on double-deck trailers and container work being highly valued. We offer life assurance, pension, uniform, PPE, parking, EAP, loyalty awards, and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• LGV C+E (Class 1) Licence is required.
• Driver CPC / DQC is required.
• Digital Tachograph Card is required.
• Strong communication and customer service skills are essential.
• Experience operating double-deck trailers is preferred.
• Experience with container work is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily vehicle checks to ensure the vehicle is safe and roadworthy.
• Attend jobs on time and communicate issues promptly with the Traffic Office.
• Adhere to all company policies, customer requirements and Highway Code regulations.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety at all times.
• Complete all scheduled deliveries and collections accurately.
• Comply with EU Tachograph and Working Time Directive regulations.
• Keep the vehicle clean, presentable and well-maintained.
• Deliver excellent customer service while representing Kinaxia.

The Role

As an HGV Class 1 Night Driver, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive efficient and reliable service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete daily vehicle checks to ensure your vehicle is safe, roadworthy and compliant
• Arrive at jobs on time and communicate any issues promptly with the Traffic Office
• Adhere to all company policies, customer requirements and Highway Code regulations
• Maintain high standards of health and safety at all times
• Complete all scheduled deliveries and collections accurately
• Comply with EU Tachograph and Working Time Directive (WTD) regulations
• Keep your vehicle clean, presentable and well-maintained

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• A valid LGV C+E (Class 1) Licence
• A current Driver CPC / Driver Qualification Card (DQC)
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Experience operating double-deck trailers
• Experience with container work (docks-compliant drivers are highly desirable)
