Job summary

Kinaxia Logistics Limited in Eastleigh is seeking an HGV Class 1 Night Driver to join our team. You will perform daily vehicle checks, meet delivery windows and maintain vehicle presentation while upholding safety standards.

The role emphasizes reliable night-time operations, adherence to regulations, and delivering excellent customer service as a Kinaxia ambassador.

Qualifications

• A valid LGV C+E (Class 1) Licence.
• A current Driver CPC / Driver Qualification Card (DQC).
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily vehicle checks to ensure the vehicle is safe, roadworthy and compliant.
• Arrive at jobs on time and communicate any issues promptly with the Traffic Office.
• Adhere to all company policies, customer requirements and Highway Code regulations.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety at all times.
• Complete all scheduled deliveries and collections accurately.
• Comply with EU Tachograph and Working Time Directive (WTD) regulations.
• Keep the vehicle clean, presentable and well-maintained.
• Deliver excellent customer service while representing the Kinaxia brand.

The Role

As an HGV Class 1 Night Driver, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive efficient and reliable service.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete daily vehicle checks to ensure your vehicle is safe, roadworthy and compliant
• Arrive at jobs on time and communicate any issues promptly with the Traffic Office
• Adhere to all company policies, customer requirements and Highway Code regulations
• Maintain high standards of health and safety at all times
• Complete all scheduled deliveries and collections accurately

What We're Looking For

To Be Successful In This Role, You'll Need

• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Experience operating double-deck trailers
• Experience with container work (docks-compliant drivers are highly desirable)
