Job summary

Interaction Recruitment Group is recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) drivers for ongoing trunking work at DIRFT near Rugby (NN6 7HQ). This role focuses on depot-to-depot deliveries with no handballing, and offers a choice of day and early-morning shifts to suit you.

You will be paid hourly at competitive rates, with weekly pay, holiday accrual and pension contributions. A valid HGV Class 1 licence, CPC and Digital Tachograph card, plus a minimum 180 days of recent Class 1 driving are

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence held for at least 12 months.
• Minimum 180 days of Class 1 driving experience within the last 2 years.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 penalty points.
• Ability to pass required vetting and DBS checks.
• Reliable, professional and safety-conscious approach.

Responsibilities

• Operating HGV Class 1 (C+E) trunking runs between distribution sites.
• Complete daily vehicle safety checks.
• Follow scheduled routes and transport procedures.
• Comply with drivers' hours and tachograph regulations.
• Maintain high safety and professionalism standards.

Interaction Recruitment is recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for ongoing opportunities with a busy transport and distribution operation based near Rugby, at DIRFT (NN6 7HQ).

With a choice of early morning and daytime shifts, we're keen to hear from drivers based in Rugby, Daventry, Northampton and the surrounding areas.

Excellent Hourly Rates

• Day shifts - £21.44 per hour

• Early morning shifts - £21.71-£21.99 per hour

• Dawn shifts - £22.48 per hour

All rates are PAYE and depend on the shift worked.

The Role

You’ll be completing scheduled HGV Class 1 trunking runs between distribution sites, ensuring deliveries are completed safely and on time.

This is predominantly driving-focused work, with no manual loading or unloading.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Operating HGV Class 1 (C+E) vehicles

• Completing daily vehicle safety checks

• Following scheduled routes and transport procedures

• Complying with drivers' hours and tachograph regulations

• Maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism
