Job summary

Interaction Recruitment Group in Birmingham is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) drivers for ongoing work with regular shifts and trunking between distribution sites.

We offer daytime and early morning shifts, no hand balling or multi-drop deliveries, guaranteed minimum daily hours, and weekly PAYE pay with holiday accrual and pension contributions.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence held for at least 12 months.
• Minimum 180 days of Class 1 driving experience within the last 2 years.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• Maximum 6 penalty points.
• Ability to pass the required vetting and DBS checks.
• A reliable and professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Driving HGV Class 1 vehicles on planned trunking routes.
• Completing daily vehicle checks.
• Following drivers' hours and tachograph regulations.
• Maintaining a professional and safety-conscious approach.

Interaction Recruitment is recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for ongoing work based in Birmingham.

Pay Rates

• Standard day shifts: £21.44 per hour

• Dawn shifts (02:01-04:00 starts): £22.48 per hour

• Early shifts (04:01-05:00 starts): £21.99 per hour

• Early shifts (05:01-05:30 starts): £21.71 per hour

The Role

You’ll be carrying out scheduled Class 1 trunking runs between distribution sites, ensuring loads are transported safely and on time.

Your duties will include:
