Job summary

Winner Recruitment is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) drivers for South Yorkshire, including Barnsley. Ad-hoc, ongoing and long-term roles with weekly pay and temp-to-perm opportunities.

Roles include trunking, curtainsider, multi-drop, tipping and local/national deliveries, with day or night shifts and flexible weekend work where required.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence held by driver.
• CPC qualification required or demonstrated.
• Digital Tachograph card holder beneficial.
• Understanding of drivers' hours and WTD regulations.
• Reliable and professional approach with good communication.

Responsibilities

• General Class 1 driving tasks.
• Trunking and depot-to-depot work.
• Multi-drop deliveries and local/national routes.
• Day and night driving and weekend work when required.

HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers Wanted - South Yorkshire

£17 - £21 per hour | Ad-Hoc | Long-Term | Temp-to-Perm

Winner Recruitment are currently looking for experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for a range of clients across South Yorkshire, including Barnsley, Sheffield, Rotherham and Doncaster.

We have a variety of work available, whether you're looking for ad-hoc shifts, regular ongoing work, long-term assignments or a Temp-to-Perm opportunity.

The Roles

Depending on the client, work can include:

• General Class 1 driving


• Trunking and depot-to-depot work


• Curtainsider and trailer work


• Multi-drop deliveries


• Tipping and skip work


• Day and night driving


• Local and national deliveries


• Weekend work where required

What We're Looking For

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence


• Valid CPC qualification


• Digital Tachograph Card


• Previous Class 1 experience preferred


• Good understanding of drivers' hours and WTD regulations


• Reliable and professional approach


• Good communication skills
