Job summary

Driver Hire Manchester is recruiting for HGV Class 1 (C+E) and Class 2 (C) Drivers to cover Chesterfield, Worksop and surrounding areas. Earn up to £18 per hour with overtime opportunities, and weekly earnings often exceeding £800.

We offer full-time and flexible shift options across day and night patterns, with a focus on matching driver availability to client needs and giving newly qualified drivers a chance to start and build experience in transport and logistics recruitment.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 (C+E) and Class 2 (C) licences required or in progress
• Ability to drive various types of HGV vehicles and complete multi-drop deliveries
• Good reliability and willingness to learn on different client sites

Responsibilities

• Drive Class 1 or Class 2 vehicles as required by assignment
• Complete multi-drop deliveries and trunking as needed
• Work across Chesterfield, Worksop and surrounding areas with flexible shifts

HGV Class 1 & Class 2 Drivers – Up to £18 Per Hour

Driver Hire is currently recruiting Class 1 (C+E) and Class 2 (C) HGV Drivers for a variety of clients across Chesterfield and Worksopand the surrounding areas.

Whether you’re looking for full-time work, extra shifts around your current job, ongoing work or your first opportunity after passing your HGV test, we have driving opportunities available.

Our drivers are earning excellent rates, with opportunities to increase your weekly earnings through overtime and additional shifts.

• Up to £18 per hour
• Some day shifts paying up to £200 per day
• Top driver earnings of £900 in a single week
• Average weekly earnings across our HGV driver pool exceed £800

Earnings vary depending on the assignment, hours and shift worked.

We work with a wide range of transport and logistics clients, meaning no two weeks have to be the same.

Depending on your experience and preferences, assignments can include:

• Class 1 & Class 2 driving
• Multi-drop deliveries
• Trunking
• RDC deliveries
• General haulage
• Tramping / nights out
• Local and regional deliveries
• Day shifts
• Night shifts
