Job summary

Enva is seeking a HGV Driver Class 1 to safely operate a Class 1 vehicle for waste transport from Carryduff (IW). You will perform vehicle checks, ensure safe loading, and maintain accurate records in line with regulations.

Permanent, full-time role based at Irish Waste, Hillsborough Road. Qualifications include HGV CE licence, CPC, Tachograph, and experience with articulated vehicles; ADR may be desirable.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (Category CE) licence.
• Valid CPC card.
• Digital Tachograph card.
• Experience driving articulated vehicles.
• Knowledge of transport legislation and safe driving practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate a HGV Class 1 articulated vehicle to complete daily waste transport duties.
• Conduct pre-use and post-use vehicle checks.
• Couple and uncouple trailers safely.
• Ensure safe loading and transportation of waste materials.
