Job summary

Romac Logistics are recruiting for a HGV Class 1 Driver to join our Middleton-based team on a full-time, permanent basis. The role includes trunking between depots and RDCs, refrigerated trailer work, and ensuring vehicle checks and logs are completed in line with UK regulations.

We offer a competitive salary of £16.13 to £18.13 per hour, full training, a supportive team, progression opportunities, and a company pension with holiday entitlement.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid UK Class 1 licence (C+E).
• Must hold Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• Good understanding of driver hours and WTD.
• Demonstrates strong work ethic and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Trunking between depots and RDCs.
• Refrigerated trailer work.
• Ensure vehicle checks are completed.
• Maintain accurate paperwork and logs.
• Follow UK driving regulations and WTD.
