Job summary

Romac Logistics Ltd. is seeking a professional Class 1 driver for trunking between depots and RDCs in the United Kingdom. You will perform vehicle checks, complete paperwork, and ensure compliance with hours rules.

Some self-delivery may be required, all while maintaining safety and professionalism. Ideal candidates hold a UK Class 1 (C+E) licence, Driver CPC with a Digital Tachograph card, and a solid understanding of Working Time Directive regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• Good understanding of driver hours and WTD regulations.
• Strong work ethic, timekeeping, and reliability.
• Experience with refrigerated or RDC work is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Class 1 trunking work between depots and RDCs.
• Completion of vehicle checks and transport paperwork.
• Compliance with driver hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
• Some self-tip deliveries where required.
• Safe and professional operation at all times.
