Job summary

Romac Logistics is seeking a Class 1 (C+E) driver based in Bradford. The role involves trunking between depots and RDCs, operating refrigerated trailers, and maintaining logs and vehicle checks. You will work a 4 on 4 off pattern with 14:00 to 16:00 starts.

The position offers a competitive hourly rate, full training, a supportive team, pension, holidays, and progression opportunities within a growing operation.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• Good understanding of driver hours and WTD regulations.
• Experience with refrigerated or RDC work is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Drive Class 1 (C+E) vehicles – trunking between depots and Regional Distribution Centres (RDCs).
• Operate refrigerated trailers, ensuring product integrity and on-time delivery.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and maintain accurate paperwork and digital logs.
• Comply with UK driving regulations and the Working Time Directive.
• Keep your vehicle clean and presentable (some self-tipping required).
