Job summary

StaffCo Direct is recruiting HGV Class 1 (C+E) drivers for ongoing trunking work in Derby. The role offers immediate starts and consistent weekly bookings across a well‑organised seven‑day operation.

Drivers will perform trunking with no handball, using modern equipment. Typical shifts run 10–12 hours with 8 hours guaranteed and PAYE rates from £17.73 to £38.68 per hour, with enhancements for weekends and nights.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence held for at least 1 year.
• CPC and Digital Tachograph card required.
• No more than 6 penalty points (no DD, IN, or DR offences).
• Excellent knowledge of the UK road network.

Responsibilities

• Complete trunking work between distribution centres with no handball.
• Shifts run 10–12 hours with 8 hours guaranteed per shift; 7 days a week operation.
• Immediate starts available with ongoing weekly bookings.
