Expect Distribution Limited is seeking a HGV Class 1 Driver (Tramper) in Hull. You will operate a Class 1 vehicle, deliver and collect goods on planned routes, and perform daily checks to ensure safety and compliance.

The role involves nights out, a Monday–Friday pattern with occasional Saturdays, and earnings based on hourly rates with enhanced weekend pay. Interviews and inductions occur in Leeds, with monthly salary paid.

Competenze

• Valid HGV Class 1 license and CPC.
• Digital tachograph card required.
• Full UK Driving Licence with C+E entitlement.

About Us:

Position Overview:

Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday // Occassional Saturday's // nights out included (flexibility required)
Contract Type: Permanent
Location: HU9 5PB (Hull Depot) - Please note: Interviews, assessments and inductions are held in Leeds.
Salary: We offer competitive hourly rates with enhanced weekend pay // salary paid monthly

• Monday–Friday: £15.03 per hour
• Saturday: £16.53 per hour
• Sunday: £17.53 per hour

Average Earning (Guide Only)

Our drivers typically work around 12.1 hours per shift, which can add approximately:

• £31.56 per day
• £8206.38 per year

Please note: These figures are based on recent averages and are intended as a guide only — actual earnings will vary.

Newly Qualified Driver Pay Structure: 1 month - £14.03 // 3 months - £15.03 (full rate)

Key Responsibilities:

Role Requirements:

• Full UK Driving Licence with C+E entitlement
• Digital tachograph card
• Driver Qualification Card (CPC)
• Flexibility to work Monday to Saturday, including nights out
• No more than 6 penalty points (certain endorsements not accepted, e.g. DR)
• Minimum age of 22 (insurance requirements)
