Job summary

Müller UK & Ireland in Market Drayton is hiring an experienced HGV Driver Trainer to develop LGV drivers, improve road safety and make a real daily impact. This permanent role will see you deliver engaging driver training across practical and classroom settings and support DCPC training and inductions.

Job description

Are you an experienced HGV Driver Trainer ready to develop drivers, improve road safety, and make a real impact every day?

This permanent HGV Driver Trainer opportunity at our Müller Market Drayton Depot will see you support and develop our LGV drivers across the business.

What you'll do:

• Deliver engaging driver training and development
• Support DCPC training and new driver inductions
• Promote safe and fuel efficient driving
• Carry out driver assessments and post incident training
• Help improve driver performance using KPIs and telematics
• Work closely with Transport and Compliance teams to ensure best practice

What we're looking for:

• Strong communicator with hands on driver training experience
• Confident delivering both practical and classroom based training
• Excellent knowledge of EU and RTWTD regulations
• Experience using digital tachographs and compliance systems
• Minimum 3 years' experience as an LGV C+E driver

Essential:

• Driver CPC
• Experience delivering driver training
• HGV Class 1 Licence (LGV Cat C+E) with no more than 6 minor points on driving licence (No CDs, DDs, DRs or INs)

Desirable:

• NRI (RTITB) DCPC qualification
• IOSH or First Aid
• Experience with telematics (Connexus/Tachomaster)
