Job summary

Müller UK & Ireland is looking for an experienced HGV Driver Trainer at our Droitwich Depot to develop drivers, improve road safety and drive performance across the business.

You will deliver engaging driver training, support CPC training and inductions, promote safe driving and use KPIs/telematics to raise standards. The role is full-time and based onsite, with a 47.5-hour week and shift pattern Tue-Sat evenings.

Qualifications

• Holder of Driver CPC and experience delivering driver training.
• Experienced with HGV C+E driving and related regulations.
• Able to deliver practical and classroom training to drivers.

Responsibilities

• Support DCPC training and new driver inductions.
• Promote safe and fuel-efficient driving.
• Carry out driver assessments and post-incident training.
• Help improve driver performance using KPIs and telematics.
• Work closely with Transport and Compliance teams to ensure best practice.
• Strong communicator with hands-on driver training experience.
• Confident delivering both practical and classroom-based training.
• Ensure knowledge of EU and RTWTD regulations.

Are you an experienced HGV Driver Trainer ready to develop drivers, improve road safety, and make a real impact every day? This permanent HGV Driver Trainer opportunity at our Müller Droitwich Depot will see you support and develop our LGV drivers across the business. What's in it for you:

What you'll do:

• Deliver engaging driver training and development
• Support DCPC training and new driver inductions

• Strong communicator with hands-on driver training experience

• Excellent knowledge of EU and RTWTD regulations
• Experience using digital tachographs and compliance systems
• Minimum 3 years' experience as an LGV C+E driver

Essential:

• Driver CPC
• Experience delivering driver training
• HGV Class 1 Licence (LGV Cat C+E) with no more than 6 minor points on driving licence (No CDs, DDs, DRs or INs)

Desirable:

• NRI (RTITB) DCPC qualification
• IOSH or First Aid
• Experience with telematics (Connexus/Tachomaster)
• Full-time, permanent contract
