Job summary

Müller Group is seeking an experienced HGV Driver Trainer to develop our LGV drivers at the Market Drayton Depot and improve road safety. You will deliver engaging training, support inductions, and work with transport teams to implement best practices.

The role emphasizes practical and classroom delivery, with a Driver CPC and LGV Class 1 licence required and experience with tachographs and compliance systems. Competitive package and benefits offered.

Job description

Are you an experienced HGV Driver Trainer ready to develop drivers, improve road safety, and make a real impact every day? This permanent HGV Driver Trainer opportunity at our Müller Market Drayton Depot will see you support and develop our LGV drivers across the business.

What you’ll do:

• - Deliver engaging driver training and development
• - Support DCPC training and new driver inductions

What we’re looking for:

• - Strong communicator with hands‑on driver training experience
• - Confident delivering both practical and classroom‑based training
• - Excellent knowledge of EU and RTWTD regulations
• - Experience using digital tachographs and compliance systems
• - Minimum 3 years’ experience as an LGV C+E driver

Essential:

• - Driver CPC
• - Experience delivering driver training
• - HGV Class 1 Licence (LGV Cat C+E) with no more than 6 minor points on driving licence (No CDs, DDs, DRs or INs)

Desirable:

• - NRI (RTITB) DCPC qualification
• - IOSH or First Aid
• - Experience with telematics (Connexus/Tachomaster)
